Fund Raising

Samveda Training & Research Centre® is a registered non-profit society, dedicated to the cause of rehabilitating children with Learning Disability, behavioral problems etc., Appreciating our dedication and hard work, occasionally individual donors have contributed both in terms of cash and kind. The graph below shows local contribution received by us in the past eight years.

We tried our level best to practice self-sustenance as a policy and tried to offset all our expenditure through revenue generated by fees. Though we sustained, we are finding it difficult to meet the ever-increasing infrastructure demands. Hence, our present efforts to raise funds.

We request you to help us to help children with Learning Disability by generously donating either in cash or in kind. Kindly go through the donation options below and make your choice.

Donor’s Register

There is no minimum or maximum limit for your contribution. When funds get accumulated it will be used for the specific purpose. Till such time your donation will be in the fund account. Our website will show the accumulation of contributions to each of the following funds.

Every year we have children with Learning Disability whose parents have to pay an annual training fee of Rs. 7,000($175). In case the child need hostel facilities annual fees of Rs. 50,000($1,225) is charged. Unfortunately parents of many children can not afford to pay the fees. So, we request donors to contribute this fund generously. There are no minimum or maximum limitations for their contribution. A soft copy of the receipt is sent through email immediately after receiving the donated amount. The money collected in the fund will be made use to a needy child. The decision as to who are the beneficiaries will be made by the board

Remuneration fund

We are unable to pay minimum salaries when compared to Govt. prescribed salaries to our staff members. To increase their salaries we will have to increase our annual fees which most parents find it difficult to pay. Hence we request donors all over the world to donate to our staff remuneration fund and the board will decide who should be the beneficiary among the staff. The selection of the beneficiary depends on the performance of the staff member. The Performance Appraisal Bonus scheme will help the staff to get a decent salary.

Equipment, Material, furniture fund:

Samveda needs a lot of special lessons on a regular basis so we need computer, Laser jet printer, Lamination machine, Fax machine, Electronic gadgets, and Software Development charges, Desks, Benches, Steel shelves, Steel cots etc.,

Vehicle fund

We need vehicles for transportation:
1. A mini van (14 seats) - costing Rs. 9, 50,000($21,000) transport children from home/hostel to school and school to home/hostel daily. Occasionally it will be used to take children on tours.
2. Car or van 6, 00,000($ 13,300) for staff traveling or small group of students going educational tours.

Subscription fund for journal and books:

We are a research organization and throughout the year we will collect the research data and we need the support of research journals. The subscription fee of these journals is beyond our reach and if donors are interested in subscribing the same for us, we will remain grateful to them. Land fund

We need funds to purchase a piece of land, about 15-20acres and we are planning to buy this land in Birur, Chikkamagalur Dist, Karnataka. This place is noted for hilly terrain and the location is picturesque. The value of the land is around Rs. 15, 00,000 ($-33,500)
